Biography

Fredrick brings over twenty-two (22) years of cross-sector experience in Kenya’s public and private sectors, with a distinguished career dedicated to strengthening financial governance and accountability across Africa. He currently serves as The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at the African Association of Accountants General (AAAG), an African Union–promoted Pan-African association that brings together Treasury departments with the shared mission of promoting public accountability as a driver of sustainable economic development.

In this role, Fredrick blends technical expertise with policy insight, enabling him to design and support best-fit solutions tailored to Africa’s unique realities and opportunities. He is deeply committed to collaborative approaches that build resilient, transparent, and future-ready financial systems across the continent.

His guiding philosophy — “Africa’s Future must be African-made” — reflects his conviction that Africa’s prosperity will be secured through home-grown solutions, innovation, and shared commitment. Fredrick continues to engage leaders, policymakers, and partners in driving transformative agendas that position Africa as a thriving home for generations to come.

Fredrick holds academic and professional qualifications in accounting and finance.
